Information Text on Security Cameras Located in the Service Area

This information text has been prepared by Özel Dent Gebze Oral and Dental Health Co. Ltd., acting as the data controller, in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“LPPD”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Complied with in Fulfilling the Information Obligation, in order to inform you about the purposes of processing your personal data, legal reasons, collection method, to whom it may be transferred and your rights within the scope of the LPPD.

In order to ensure the security of our service area, a total of 16 security cameras are used to record images on the building's exterior, corridors, entrances, waiting area, patient reception area and cash desks, and the recording process is supervised by administrative affairs.

Your personal data in question is processed by automatic means based on the legal reason set forth in Article 5 of the Law, which states that “data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person”. In addition, your personal data may be transferred to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement authorities upon request for the resolution of legal disputes or in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Article 20 of the Constitution states that everyone has the right to be informed about personal data relating to him/her. Article 11 of the KVKK lists the rights of the personal data owner within the scope of the law.
